FAIRY JASMINE'S PARTY TIPS
As an experienced preschool teacher and children's entertainer I thought I would share with you some of my top tips to help you plan your party!
PICK MIX AND LOLLY BAGS
Use jars and vases filled with a mix of lollies and an old fashioned scoop to allow children to pick and mix their favourite lollies for a take home bag. Make white paper lolly bags sparkle with some fairy stickers and glitter glue to write each child's name and a little wooden peg to clip them closed. A fun and inexpensive way to make your lolly bags stand out with little preparation time for you!
THE BEST TIME TO INVITE A FAIRY
Our fairy parties work best when all the children are there to start, so I recommend inviting the children at least 15 minutes before the fairy to allow for late arrivals
THE BEST TIME FOR CHILDREN TO EAT AT THE PARTY
Depending on the time of your party children can eat before or after the fairy arrives however it can also be a great activity at the party whilst the fairy face paints to keep the other children busy.
SENDING OUT INVITES
2-3 weeks before your party is an ideal time to send out invites as it allows enough time for people to keep the date free but it's close enough people will pop the date straight in their diary.

- Charge your camera battery the day before and clear it's memory so you have lots of space.
- Candles
- Matches or a lighter
- Knife to cut the cake
HAVE A WET WEATHER OPTION Weather can be so unpredictable so it's always a great idea to consider where the party will be held if it's raining. Weather you have an indoor space that can cater for this or you ask a friend or relative for use of their space it can relieve you of the stress and uncertainty of rain. A garage can be brightened up with a few balloons and often makes an ideal wet weather back up without the worry of muddy feet and sticky hands on carpet and expensive furniture.
THANK YOU NOTES Children can open presents very quickly and it can be difficult to figure out who gave which present. As the card is opened write on the back what the present is - that way the name is already written in the card to save you time and at the end of the party you can simply use the cards to write your thank you notes - rather than searching for that piece of paper you wrote it on that probably got scrunched up with the wrapping paper.
INVITE A FAIRY TO YOUR 40TH! Fairies are a great way to keep the children entertained at any event whilst you relax and enjoy the party. We come to all events not just children's birthday parties and we have been to lots of 40th parties, christenings, weddings, playgroup parties and more.
